Legal & Guest Policy
Pinetop Resort Terms & Conditions
Please review these terms before confirming any reservation. By booking, transferring payment, or staying at PineTop Resort, you agree to these policies.
1. Reservations, Confirmation & Payments
- Reservations are confirmed only upon receipt and verification of a minimum 50% advance payment.
- The remaining balance is due at check-in.
- Bookings without advance payment are considered tentative and may be released without prior notice.
- Payment confirmation requires successful reflection in the resort's official account.
- Providing only a message, SMS alert, or verbal claim of transfer does not constitute verified payment.
- Management reserves the right to request an official transaction receipt or screenshot for verification.
- If payment is not verifiable, guests may be required to pay in cash at check-in to avoid discrepancies.
- Guests must provide accurate booking details including full name, CNIC/Passport number, vehicle registration number, and contact information for entry clearance.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to arrival are eligible for a full refund of the advance payment.
- Cancellations within 24 hours of arrival are non-refundable.
- No-shows will result in forfeiture of the advance payment.
- If the resort cancels a confirmed booking, the advance payment will be fully refunded.
3. Check-In & Check-Out Policy
- Check-in time: 1:00 PM
- Check-out time: 11:00 AM
- Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
- Extensions beyond checkout hours are a goodwill gesture and not a guaranteed right.
4. Guest Conduct, Environment & Safety
- Guests must follow all resort rules and staff instructions.
- Swimming in Khanpur Dam is strictly prohibited.
- Night visits to the lake are not permitted for safety reasons.
- Bonfires are allowed only with prior management approval.
- The resort prioritizes families and maintains a peaceful environment. Public disturbance, misconduct, or illegal activity may result in immediate removal without refund.
5. Security & Identification
- All guests must present valid CNIC or Passport at check-in.
- One group representative must submit ID at the security gate for entry clearance.
- Guests must provide an estimated arrival time to facilitate smooth security processing.
- The resort is located within a secure, controlled-entry zone suitable for families.
6. Foreign Nationals
Foreign guests must present a valid No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by the Ministry of Interior, Pakistan, prior to booking or check-in.
7. Transportation Disclaimer
- The resort may assist in arranging transport at standard market rates upon request.
- If guests independently arrange transportation, Pinetop Resort bears no responsibility for pricing, service quality, delays, or disputes related to third-party providers.
8. Restaurant & Service Format
- Pinetop Resort operates in a boutique-style hospitality format rather than a conventional reception desk model.
- Meals are freshly prepared on order. Guests are requested to place orders in advance to ensure quality service.
9. Power & Utilities
- The resort does not operate diesel generators to preserve the natural environment.
- A solar system provides daytime backup.
- During nighttime power outages, lights and fans are supported through battery backup only.
10. Parking & Liability
- Complimentary on-site parking is available.
- The resort is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to vehicles or personal belongings.
11. Damage & Property Responsibility
- Guests are responsible for the care of resort property, fixtures, and amenities.
- Any damage, loss, or excessive soiling will be charged at repair or replacement cost as determined by management.
- Removal of resort property (towels, linens, decor items, equipment, etc.) is strictly prohibited and may result in charges and legal action.
- The resort reserves the right to recover damage costs before departure or charge the payment method on file.
12. Communication & Complaint Policy
Guests are encouraged to report concerns during their stay for immediate resolution. Issues not communicated during the stay cannot be fairly evaluated after departure.
13. Resort Rights
- Pinetop Resort reserves the right to refuse entry, cancel bookings, or remove guests who fail to comply with these terms.
- Management decisions regarding safety, financial verification, and guest conduct are final.
